Free Advertising, No Gimmicks

Have you checked out Craigslist yet? If you haven’t you should. Craigslist.org has regional pages so you can check out listings for your area or a location that you are interested in. It is free to view ads or post one of your own (there is no charge to post ads in most of the categories). It is amazing the range of ads you can find everything from real estate to jobs to social actives to bicycles to bartering.

I used it to sell a dining room table and chairs a few months ago. I was truly amazed at the response! I sold the table and chairs the same day I posted the ad… pretty cool. Even better was the fact that I didn’t have to pay anything for an add to sell my stuff.

There are definitely some deals to be had by looking on Craigslist.

Craigslist is great and we use it a lot but so are the freecycle groups on Yahoo. It is a message board where you post things you want to give away for free. They ask that you don’t post ‘junk’ just stuff you aren’t using that someone else could get some good use out of. It is GREAT!!!! I just thought others might like to check it out too.
